About me
Valerii Horbatov

I’m Valerii Horbatov, a millwork specialist with over 25 years of experience in architectural millwork, custom fabrication, and high‑precision installation. My background spans shop production, CNC and CAD‑driven manufacturing, cabinetry assembly, and full‑scale commercial and residential installations.

I’ve spent years working in a professional millwork shop, operating advanced woodworking machinery, building custom components, reading technical drawings, and preparing detailed parts for installation. My experience with CAD software, production workflows, and material optimization allows me to understand projects from both the fabrication and installation sides — ensuring accuracy from the shop floor to the final fit on site.

On installations, I focus on precision, clean execution, and strict adherence to specifications. I’ve completed millwork and cabinetry installations in offices, retail spaces, medical facilities, hospitality environments, and residential interiors across Calgary and beyond.

Craftsmanship has always been central to my work. One of my most meaningful personal projects was building a fully functional solid‑wood bicycle, a demonstration of technical skill, creativity, and attention to detail.

Today, through Trident Installation Services, I bring together decades of hands‑on shop experience and high‑accuracy installation expertise to deliver reliable, consistent, and professional millwork installations across Canada.

Precision built in the shop. Accuracy delivered on site. Installations made to last

About me
Brayden Hiltz

My name is Brayden Hiltz, owner of Trident Installation Services. My background spans machining, manufacturing, architectural millwork, and hands‑on woodworking. Over the years I’ve gained experience operating advanced woodworking machinery, assembling cabinetry, troubleshooting equipment, and working in fast‑paced production environments where precision and deadlines are critical.

I’ve also taken on leadership roles — guiding teams, maintaining schedules, and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and accountability. For me, good work is built on three principles: respect, responsibility, and pride in doing the job right the first time.

My connection to woodworking started early. I grew up watching my grandfather in his woodshop, turning raw lumber into furniture that would outlast him. Those pieces still live in our family today, and they shaped my belief that true craftsmanship should stand the test of time.

Another major influence in my career is my father‑in‑law, Valerii Horbatov, a millwork installer with over 25 years of experience. Working alongside him — first in the shop and later on installation projects — gave me a deeper understanding of the trade. His precision, patience, and dedication to doing things the right way continue to inspire me. His story of building a new life in Canada and bringing his family to safety from Ukraine is a reminder of what perseverance and craftsmanship can achieve.

Today, through Trident Installation Services, we combine generations of experience, technical skill, and respect for the craft. Whether it’s architectural millwork, cabinetry, commercial interiors, or custom installations, our goal is simple:
deliver precise work, take full responsibility, and build installations that last for years to come.

Inspired by craftsmanship. Built with pride. Installed to last
